About

My name is Cindy Shelton-Eide, and I am an artist, writer, and art educator living in Richmond, VA.
I use clay, paintings, and words to explore my awe of the natural world and the endless connections within it. I am fascinated by the practice of transforming earth's most ancient geological matter into permanent objects that are inspired by the most fleeting of physical moments - such as a bird's feather or the veins on a leaf.
